Hello Ladies!!

My 1st Friends Playgroup has been started to bring together friendly moms, their babies and young toddlers in the West Broward area. This group is for ALL MOMS, although the majority of the meet-ups will be during the day.

Join us for a meet-up, which will be held primarily Monday through Friday, and mostly in the morning with occasional activities in the afternoons. Since we want to form lasting friendships, we will occasionally have a family event, so that way we can all meet everyone’s families
The Group's message board will be used to learn about the experiences of other moms, share advice, offer and receive support and make new friends for you AND your children!

MEMBERSHIP

1. In order to be considered for membership, you must fully complete the questionnaire and post a photo. Please let the organizer know if you are unsure about how to post a photo.

2. Once your membership request has been approved you must attend an event within 1 Months, unless you contact the organizer and let her know why you are unable to attend. If you do not attend within that time you will be removed from the group and may rejoin later.

3. You must provide a phone number for the phone list and the organizers will provide you with her cell phone number once you let them know that you will be attending your first event.

4. Members must have a child from birth to 4 years old to join, but older siblings are always welcome.

5. Membership fee is $5 and non-refundable. It is due after 30 days of active membership!!!

6. We reserve the right to remove any Non-Active members!!!

MY 1st FRIENDS PLAYGROUP RULES

**Please note that this is not simply an Online Forum - this is an active playgroup. Only join if you have the intention of being active.

1. The message board is a great way to communicate and get to know each other. We know that it can be difficult to keep on top of the Message Boards, so please try to post once in a while. We will have some Bulletin posts to help you along. Message board participation is not required, but it's greatly appreciated!

2. This group is designed to be an ACTIVE group of moms. You are considered "active" if you attend at least 2 meet-up group events per month. If you can't attend for a period of time, but are interested in staying in the group, please let the organizers know why. This way we don't remove you from the group. (You can email the organizer directly for privacy.) We all want to have fun and make friends. Once you're a part of our group, when you go away we miss you!!

3. Please try to R.S.V.P. for all events (even if it is NO). You will always be able to select "Yes" or "No", and you will almost always be able to select "Maybe" with the option to change your answer closer to the event. We spend a lot of time coming up with meeting ideas, so we expect everyone to be courteous enough to let us know whether or not they will be attending.

4. If you R.S.V.P. YES, please make absolutely every effort to actually show up! We understand that things come up last minute and we all have our priorities that come before this group. (We're all moms too!) If within 30 MINUTES of the event's start time you find you are unable to attend, please call one of the organizers. We want to know whether or not to wait for you to show. This is a safety issue; we do not want any moms to be waiting by themselves with their children.

5. If you or your child is sick, DO NOT attend any events until everyone is better.

6. You must attend at least one public event after you have been accepted into the group before you may attend a private event in someone's home. Please, no guests at private events unless cleared with the hostess before the event.

7. While at events, please make sure you are attentive to your child and what they are doing at all times. We understand that kids can sometimes have bad days, however, no one in the group wants to have to discipline someone else's child. If you have a child that seems to be aggressive or hits constantly, and the issue cannot be worked out between the "offender and victim's" moms, we reserve the right to ask you to leave an event or cancel your membership with us.
