About Fun with the little ones!

I started this group in an effort to connect during the week with some friends I normally only see at church on the weekend.. Although a few of us attend a local church, this group is not affiliated with the church nor do you need to attend it to join! Most of the members have joined through word of mouth, but we are an open group and would love to have new people join that we have not met yet.

Basically, it is a group designed for mom's with young children who are looking for things to do around town either for free or very cheap. We'll have some of our own events, and some meetups will just be posting what is already going on around town. I live in close-in NE Portland, so most of the activities are centered in the eastside/downtown area. You do not need to live in this area to join as some of our members live in Washougal, Beaverton, Happy Valley but most meetups will be a bit of a drive for you in that case. I am more than willing to post events on the calendar in other locations as long as someone is willing to "host" the meetup. Just send me a note, and we'll get it on the calendar.

Feel free to utilize the message boards to ask questions, references, or just get moral support on any topic that's on your mind. Also, please don't hesitate to suggest anything regarding how to improve this group.
